Don’t ya just Hate Internet Explorer (any god damned version)!

The other day I was fairly pissed off at how lousy IE7 was in regards to rendering a seemingly simple set of CSS rules and HTML which constitutes a rather nice looking layout in KHTML browsers and the like. Now, I know I might be repeating the complaint of a well known (and often accepted) problem in the web development community, but I have had enough!

I can’t take it anymore so I decided to mention to everyone I knew (including my clients) that Internet Explorer is a virus downloading program or a ‘Trojan Horse’. Internet Explorer 6,7,8 (and beyond I believe) is the sole reason why YOUR COMPUTER RUNS LIKE A SLUG!

I am using Linux as my OS but I emulate Windows XP to test websites through IE and I can happily just close down the whole Winblows shebang once I’m finished. BUT, I still feel the ‘Microsoft Pain’ even when emulating with a virtual machine. Sometimes I feel like crying when I have to take a perfectly STANDARDS COMPLIANT layout and hack it to bits so that it suits the majority adopted IE7.

So to help others in their quest to drive Microsoft Internet Explorer out of the web browser market, I have made a rather simple button for developers that rightly speaks for itself on behalf of all of us.
